Canon Canada Introduces the Color imageRUNNER C3326i
New colour multifunction printer delivers robust document security features at reduced print costs

BRAMPTON, ON., AUG 17, 2023 – Canon Canada Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is excited to announce the forthcoming Color imageRUNNER C3326i. This new A3 colour multifunction printer is designed to meet the needs of small- and medium-sized businesses. Boasting reliable features that reduce its running cost, the imageRUNNER C3326i comes standard with 55 security features, supports a wide range of paper media and produces high-quality colour output at impressive speeds.
The imageRUNNER C3326i – in conjunction with uniFLOW Online – reinforces the concept of Simplify, Control, and Evolve, which aims to streamline the end-user experience and technology management, enhance control over sensitive information and printing expenses, and ensure proactive evolution of technology investments in response to changing requirements. Additionally, the device will assist with and encourage businesses in their digital transformation initiatives and hybrid work environments.
Here are some key highlights of the imageRUNNER C3326i:
- Prints up to 26 ppm (BW/Colour, LTR)
- Scans up to 70 ipm (300 dpi, BW/Colour, Duplex, LTR)
- 650-sheet maximum output paper capacity with Inner Finisher option
- Supports media weights up to 140 lb. Index
- New toner with lower melting point
This latest addition to the Canon portfolio of multifunction printers – which also includes imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX series – includes improvements in the areas of security, sustainability, and serviceability. Key enhancements include:
Security
- A new status display for McAfee Embedded Control that allows administrators to see security prevention activity from the local user interface of the device
- Automatic Recovery at Startup (NIST SP800-193, Platform Firmware Resiliency), an enhancement to the Verify System at Startup feature that allows the device to continue to boot to a known secure state (Golden Master) if tampering is detected at start-up
Sustainability
- Lower melting temperature toner, which helps reduce electric power needed for fixing and improves typical electric consumption (TEC) values
- Sustainable parts developed from 100 per cent reused plastic, which helps reduce the use of new plastic materials and their impact on the environment
- Canon has converted to environmentally friendly, full cardboard packaging on specific models, including the imageRUNNER C3326i
Serviceability
- Continued improvements that contribute to a low-maintenance design
