Frequently Asked Questions

1. When I call for a pick-up, I am asked for some authorization numbers. How do I get this information?

If you are calling Purolator for a bulk cartridge return, please provide these numbers:

You will be asked for a PIN when you contact Purolator. You can find the Purolator PIN on the mailing label you have already generated.

*If you are asked for an authorization address, please use 6390 Dixie Rd., Mississauga, ON, L5T 1P7.

2. Why do I have to print a label every time I want to return empty toner cartridges?

Labels that are printed online create unique bar codes and tracking numbers. Each package being returned is required to have a tracking number in order for the shipment to be processed and identified appropriately. For each package being returned, you MUST create a new label each time using the cartridge return option. Labels cannot be photocopied or used at a later date.

Purolator Bulk Return Option
When shipping more than one toner, please use the Purolator Bulk Return option and place as many toners as possible per carton. Consolidating as many toners per carton is preferred.

3. What if my cartridge is not on the list of eligible cartridges?

Please check to see if there is a recycling symbol on the cartridge. If there is, please recycle locally.
