Dear Valued Customers and Partners,
My name is Isao “Sammy” Kobayashi, and it is my pleasure and honour to introduce myself as the new President & CEO of Canon Canada. I started my career at Canon in Japan and after spending nearly 20 years at Canon U.S.A., I am excited to be joining the team in Canada during this very special year for the organization.
This year, Canon will be celebrating 50 years in Canada, a significant milestone highlighting decades of technology and innovative solutions with an unwavering dedication to quality and excellent customer service.
As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we want to say thank you and we want to celebrate you: our many valued partners and customers who have helped to positively impact our continued growth since 1973. We look forward to connecting with you about some initiatives we’re launching this year to celebrate.
In addition, to show our gratitude and thanks to the communities in Canada where we work and live, I am also excited to announce that we will be launching our “50 Acts of Kyosei” campaign. Our corporate philosophy of Kyosei is a vision for the future in which “all people, regardless of race, religion or culture, harmoniously living and working together into the future.” Launching this spring, we are committing to 50 acts of “Kyosei” or kindness as a way of giving back to the local communities that have supported us for the past 50 years.
While I have only been with Canon Canada a short time, I am looking forward to meeting you and hope to be able to share with you more about the future of Canon as we work to expand and grow for another 50 years to come.
Thank you for being a part of our story.
Sincerely,
Isao “Sammy” Kobayashi
President and CEO
