1. What format and size of photo is required?
The quality of your artwork depends a lot on the quality of your photograph. In order for us to achieve the best quality and detail on your artwork, we recommend photographs from a digital camera (minimum 3 Megapixels) taken at the highest settings. The file format can be JPEG or TIFF.
2. What if I want to turn stock photography into a painting?
We can turn any photograph into a painting, but in all cases, we need you to confirm that you have permission and the rights to use the image.
3. How long will it take for my painting to be completed?
It will be completed and shipped within 15 days from the receipt of your photograph. You will receive a notification regarding the same.
4. What are my payment options?
Canon Canada accepts American Express, MasterCard or Visa. You must use a Canadian credit card with a Canadian billing and shipping address. Your card will not be charged until your order ships. If your card expires before we ship your order, we will notify you, and ask you to enter the credit card information again with the new expiration date. When you place an order on the Canon eStore, your credit card information is encrypted using a VeriSign Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate. Credit card information is not stored on the Canon eStore system. Therefore, it must be re-entered each time you place an order.
5. Am I responsible for duties and taxes?
All order are subject to applicable taxes based on the province to which shipment is made. Canon Canada cannot accept tax-exempt orders. The precise amount of the applicable taxes will be clearly displayed during the checkout process. Prior to submitting your payment, you will have the opportunity to easily review, retain and print the applicable sales tax information.
6. Applicable Law?
The Terms and any related sale shall be deemed to have been made in the Canadian province where you reside (the "Province") and shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Province and the federal laws applicable therein, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts situated in the Province for all disputes or disagreements arising pursuant to, or transactions and relationships contemplated by these Terms and waive any objections as to personal jurisdiction or as to the laying of venue in such courts due to inconvenient forum or any other basis and undertake to file no action or bring no complaint in any other court.
7. Can I return or exchange the painting?
All Sales for PRINT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES are final. FINAL SALE items cannot be returned for exchange, credit or refund. If there is an error on your painting, please contact Canon within 30 days of receiving your painting. If our artists have made any error, we will correct it.
